The Purse Ladies

The Purse Ladies, founded in 2010 by sisters Alana and Arlee, began in their South Florida garage with a vision to transform the designer resale market. 

Despite their initial unfamiliarity with the industry, they introduced innovative concepts like a designer trading program and an instant product appraisal system.  Are all of your items 100% Authentic?

Yes. Each and every item we sell goes through a double verification authentication process by our very own expert authenticators! We have a lifetime authenticity guarantee on every item we sell. We are also an Entrupy Certified Business.

 Do you consign?

We buy outright! We do not consign. We assume the responsibility for the items we buy from you and let you walk away with no strings attached! Payments are made via check the same day you choose to sell.

 Do you offer layaway?

Totally! If you're shopping online you can check out using Shop Pay Installments. They are a trusted online loan option.

Shop Pay gives you the option to pay in full at checkout, or to pay for your order over time. When available, Shop Pay Installments is a great option to help you maximize your budget for orders between 50 USD and 17,500 USD.

Depending on your purchase amount, there are two ways that you can pay for your order in installments.
- For orders between $50 to $999.99, you can split your purchase into four bi-weekly, interest-free installment payments. There are no additional charges, interest rates, or late fees for this option, and your credit score isn't affected.

- For orders between $150 to $17,500, you can split your purchase into monthly installment payments. While there are no late fees for monthly installment payments, your order is subject to interest fees. Your credit score isn't affected when you apply, but it can change if you don't make your payments on time.
After you make your first payment at checkout, you'll be charged either biweekly or monthly, depending on the installment payment option you chose. You'll be reminded by email and SMS text (if applicable) before each payment is charged to your card.

 What is the return policy?

In Store
Return your item to receive Store Credit within 7 days from DATE OF PURCHASE.

Online
Return your item to receive Store Credit within 7 days from DATE OF DELIVERY.
- Items returned must be in the same condition as described/pictured in the original advertisement, and the return tag must still be fully attached.

- A return request must be initiated within 7 days of confirmed delivery. To initiate a request please go to our return page https://thepurseladies.com/tools/returns - You will need your account email and order number.  

- The item must be shipped within 3 days of approved return. A PAID label will be provided however, Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Cost of shipping label will be deducted from the final value of the refund. There is no processing or restocking fee. 

 How does selling work?

Bring us your gently used designer handbags and accessories for a same-day quote. Our trained specialist will authenticate and evaluate your collection. We offer competitive prices based on factors such as brand, condition, and desirability. No obligation quotes remain valid for 2 weeks unless otherwise specified.

 How do I get paid?

Instantly! If you accept some or all of our offers, we will write you a check the same day! No waiting. No hassles. We do require a valid form of I.D. for each sale. Checks can only be made payable to the person selling the items.

 What if I want to think about the offer before deciding?

No problem! We will honor your quote for up to two weeks, after two weeks, we would need to re-evaluate your items.

 How do I get the most for my item(s)?

Oftentimes we will pay out higher prices for items that come with original receipts, dust bags/cases, and have all the original pieces that came with that item. Making sure items are clean and odor neutral will also add value. Items that are dirty or have an odor will often receive a lower quote because of the additional time/money that will need to be invested. Another trick is to bring in items that are ready for the upcoming season. For example, bring us boots and brown items in the Fall; florals and pastel items in the spring.

 How does trading work?

If you prefer to trade in your items for something in our store, we will add an extra 20% to your quote. For example, if we offer $500 for your items, you can choose instead to take a trade value of $600 (additional 20%) with our Trade Program.

 What if I want the Trade Value, but there isn’t anything I want in the store?

No worries, you can take your Trade Value in the form of store credit and use it later. Your store credit never expires. Also, we get in approximately 200 new items in a week. So odds are we will have something you want next time!

 Can I use some of my quote for Trade Value and get the remaining amount in a check?

You can split items, not dollars. This means that for each item on your quote you must decide whether it will be used for Trade Value or if you would like to sell it outright. In that way, you can split your quote to take advantage of both options. But if for instance, you have one item you're selling, you cannot split the quote for that one item between Trade Value and a check.
